Epic Store Free Game (30th Jan)
Welcome back to another mini-blog (it’s definitely not coz I’m too lazy to write a proper one), where I, Sloth, talk briefly about the game that’s currently free in the Epic Games Store.
Undying is a survival game set in a world overrun by zombies. A mother, Anling, has been bitten by a zombie and wants to get her son, Cody, to safety. We have to ensure Cody’s survival in this zombie-infested world by protecting him, searching for safety, and teaching him valuable skills at any cost. There are multiple NPCs we have to interact with, and the decisions we make can change the outcome of the story. There is a crafting system and the items one crafts could change the difficulty of the game by a lot.
There are 14 major locations on the map and they will be spread out in a variety of layouts, giving us that element of surprise all gamers hold dear. They even mention David Brevik helped design the dungeons! And how can it be a proper apocalypse if you don’t have a cute kitten as a pet? There are different mutations of zombies, and the devs warn us the story could be a tear-jerker!
Moral of the blog? Dare prove the devs wrong on that last sentence? So long, peeps. Happy procrastinating!
