Epic Store Free Game (23rd Jan)
Wassup, Ge-erds! I’m Sloth and today we’re talking about the game that’s free in the Epic Games Store from 23rd to 30th Jan. Mind you, it’s no AAA title, but an indie one.
Behind the Frame: The Finest Scenery is a vivid, interactive fiction about an aspiring artist on the cusp of finishing the final piece of her gallery submission. You guide her brush strokes and solve a variety of puzzles to help her complete her masterpiece. The game can be played at any pace. You’ll slowly find yourself getting immersed in the panoramic world filled with resplendent colors, beautiful hand-animated visuals, and a smooth, easy-listening soundtrack. Each painting has it’s own story to tell. You can also take coffee and breakfast breaks.
It is inspired by Miyazaki/Studio Ghibli visuals. A game perfect for when you’re feeling sleepy and want to play for 10-15 minutes before heading to bed.
