Epic Store Free Game (9th Jan)
Every experienced PC gamer knows to claim free games. And Epic Store gives away at least one game every week, you can be assured. Sup gamers, Sloth here, and if you haven’t guessed already, today I’ll be talking a bit about Turmoil, the game that’s currently free in the Epic Store.
Turmoil is a simulation game released in 2016, and it’s apparently inspired by the 19th century oil rush in America. Well, I’ll leave the history bits to you guys, and focus on the gameplay. Basically, you lease land at auctions and search for oil. Then, you build equipment to collect and store the oil so that you can sell it at the right time. All this to become the next mayor!
There’s a campaign where you can build your career, and the bed of money every billionaire has. You can obviously upgrade your oil mining equipment. There are tons of procedurally generated levels to keep you busy. Then, there are the auctions and the multiplayer where you can boast your oil mining operations to others.
Moral of the blog? Are you serious? Go claim it right now. So long, peeps. Happy procrastinating!
