Epic Store Free Games (6th Feb)
Some weeks, Epic Games decides to give away two games for free together. And guess what? This week is one of them. Also, if you’ve been keeping an eye on their store (which I have, obviously), you’ll be able to know the items they’re giving away nest week. But, that’s a story for another time! Sup gamers, Sloth here, and today I’ll be talking a bit about the two games you can get for free in the Epic Store this week.

Beyond Blue is a single-player narrative adventure that takes you deep under the surface- into the vast oceans. You are Mirai, a deep-sea explorer and scientist. Throughout eight different dives, you’ll be exploring the untouched parts of the ocean and interacting with different creatures. There’s a voice cast too to make it s proper narrative. The game features a captivating soundtrack from Miles Davis, The Flaming Lips, and more. There are also sixteen mini-documentaries called Ocean Insights that feature footage and interviews with science’s leading ocean experts.

HUMANKIND is a historical turn-based strategy game, where you will rewrite the entire narrative of humankind, and it will be as unique as you can make it! You will have to create your own civilization where you can combine more than 60 historical cultures from the Ancient to the Modern Age. Each culture will have its own special gameplay layer, leading to near-endless outcomes. Every great deed you accomplish, every moral choice you make, every battle won will build your fame. The player with the most fame will win at the end. You can go fight wars, trade with other civilizations and much more.
Moral of the blog? Dunno, but the Humankind game is costly. MIght as well claim it for free. So long, peeps. Happy procrastinating!
