Upcoming Movies: It’s Always A Delight To See Robert On Screen…And No It Is Not Batman 2…Yet…SO, Until It Comes Out Think Of As Your Broody Neighborhood Batman And Check Out The List
Hey there, cinephiles and popcorn hoarders, happy holidays to y’all!
Reaper here again—yes, like the guy who shows up when your Netflix queue runs out or when someone says, “Let’s remake a classic movie… again!” I’m here to guide you through the glittery, explosion-filled wasteland of upcoming movies—some might blow your mind, others might just blow.
Upcoming Movies: A Look At Blockbusters We Can’t Escape
The cinematic future is bright, glittering, and undeniably expensive. As Hollywood churns out billion-dollar franchises and directors sharpen their knives (or keyboards) for another round of ‘visionary storytelling,’ we, the popcorn-munching masses, brace ourselves. From messianic clones to blue aliens riding flying fish, here’s your guide to the upcoming blockbusters.
Mickey 17 (April 18, 2025)
Director: Bong Joon-ho
Robert Pattinson is back, and this time he’s…well, disposable. Directed by the mastermind behind Parasite, Mickey 17 promises existential dread wrapped in sci-fi brilliance. Pattinson plays an ‘expendable’—a clone sent to do humanity’s dirty work on alien planets. Will it be a meditation on identity and sacrifice, or will Bong Joon-ho use Pattinson’s cheekbones to distract us from capitalist nightmares? Either way, it’s a win.
Expectation Level: High. Bong Joon-ho rarely misses.
Avatar 3, 4 & 5 (Starting December 19, 2025…And Forever After)
Director: James Cameron
James Cameron isn’t done with Pandora, and honestly, who’s going to stop him? After spending a GDP’s worth of cash on underwater cameras, Avatar 3 is set to introduce the ‘Ash People’—fire-themed Na’vi. Will they be eco-terrorists? Probably. Avatar 4 and 5 will allegedly ‘break new ground,’ though it’s unclear if that ground is metaphorical or James Cameron just plans to blow up an iceberg.
Expectation Level: Medium-High. The visuals will be stunning. The plot? Unclear.

Superman (July 11, 2025)
Director: James Gunn
James Gunn takes on the cape, tights, and god-complex issues of Superman. With his track record (Guardians of the Galaxy), Gunn knows how to balance humor, emotion, and explosions. Will this be a bright, hopeful reboot, or will Superman get sad over another jar of CGI mustard? Either way, Gunn’s got this.
Expectation Level: Cautiously Optimistic. Gunn knows his stuff.
The Fantastic Four (July 25, 2025)
Director: Matt Shakman
Marvel’s First Family is back…again. After multiple failed attempts (cough 2015’s disaster cough), Matt Shakman (WandaVision) steps up to rescue Reed Richards and his stretchy existentialism. Will Marvel lean into sci-fi weirdness or play it safe with quips and product placements?
Expectation Level: Hopeful. Marvel needs a win.

Jurassic World: Rebirth (July 2, 2025)
Director: David Leitch
Dinosaurs are back…again…again. This time with John Wick director David Leitch at the helm. Will velociraptors perform sick parkour stunts? Probably. Will Chris Pratt stare meaningfully into the distance while dinosaurs casually commit mass extinction behind him? Almost certainly.
Expectation Level: Moderate. Dinosaurs. Explosions. Popcorn.

The Bride (26 September, 2025)
Director: Maggie Gyllenhaal
Maggie Gyllenhaal takes on The Bride of Frankenstein with a modern twist. Will it be hauntingly poetic or aggressively artsy? Either way, expect monologues, tragic romance, and probably some questionable hair choices.
Expectation Level: Artsy Enthusiasm.

Masters Of The Universe (June 5, 2026)
Director: Travis Knight
He-Man returns! Directed by Travis Knight (Kubo and the Two Strings), this movie might actually be…good? Skeletor memes will flood the internet, and grown adults will argue over whether He-Man’s loincloth is comic-accurate.
Expectation Level: Nostalgic Hype.

Final Thoughts
From deep philosophical sci-fi to superheroes redefining their tights, the future of cinema is loud, expensive, and undeniably entertaining. Bring on the popcorn—and maybe a clone of yourself to handle the endless sequels.
